Le Temps Suspendu
A digital installation by Chevalvert
This Proustian title denotes the ambitious project Clic Clac calling on all the city’s inhabitants to create a symbolic installation contributing to Le Havre’s memory.
Le Temps Suspendu inextricably links the individual with our collective destiny. It will take place in the former powder keg of the Jardins Suspendus perched above the Seine estuary.
The walls of the vault will display the portraits of tens of thousands of Le Havre inhabitants, all collected over 2017 and projected to form a giant interactive photo album for posterity. This priceless collection will leave a lasting trace of 2017, a year of celebration for Le Havre’s residents. It will be unveiled on October 8, 2017, the anniversary of the city’s foundation.
