The LH CLUB 2017, chaired by Vianney de Chalus, is the event’s largest private financial backer and supports the creation of the permanent work of art Impact by Stéphane Thidet at Bassin du Commerce.
Support from local businesses is crucial if the event is to be truly successful. Through their membership of LH CLUB 2017, local and national companies based in the area are supporting artistic creation, cultural development and tourism in the region and taking action to boost its appeal.
For Vianney de Chalus, Chair of LH CLUB 2017, “2017 will give the city’s appeal a massive boost. It will also give the local business community an opportunity to promote their know-how, federate their staff and it will drive their recruitment policies.”
For Édouard Philippe, Chair of GIP Le Havre 2017 and Mayor of Le Havre, “We have to thank companies in the area for their commitment to making the 500th anniversary a success. It is a joint effort worthy of recognition and which illustrates the need to come together to make Le Havre an attractive destination. This momentum proves that this kind of anniversary is for everyone, not just the local authorities. I am delighted that small, medium and large companies are coming together like this. Each one of them, at their respective level, is adding their own contribution.”
